Hi everybody! We're loving our time in Auckland! We've met some great people, done some fun stuff, gone to church..it's been amazing! We adjusted easily to the time change, with little jet lag. Our "Sleeping Studio" has been a real blessing to crash and get established in New Zealand.

The most exciting news is our new online photo album - check it out at www.daveandesther.shutterfly.com To explain some of the pictures, there are a few of our room at the Columbard. Then, you'll see some from the rugby match we went to on Saturday night - North Harbour vs. Taranaki. We cheered for North Harbour, and they won, so that was great. The rest our pictures show all around Auckland. We've spent the past few days exploring the city, and have loved it! The final ones are of our first friends in New Zealand!! YEAH!! We met them at church on Sunday, and they had us over for dinner last night. They have been a big highlight of our trip so far!

In other news, we leave the Columbard this Friday. We head across to Waiheke Island, just outside of the city for the weekend. On Sunday, we fly to Christchurch in the South Island, moving down the coast to start at Camp Columbo in Gore on October 19th. After this super extended honeymoon, it will be funny to get back to working.

We're still considering buying a car, so you can pray for us about that. We didn't have much luck in Auckland, but we're going to try again in Christchurch. We're also planning on renting a car this weekend on Waiheke, to practise driving on the left side of the road.
