Box for Adalid

Dave recently built this very cool box for Adalid, one of the guys who works at the camp. Adalid asked Dave to build it for his church, so they could have somewhere to keep their microphones, cables, etc. I think Adalid was expecting a simple box, but when Dave does things, he gives it his all! He built the entire thing out of leftover wood It is even more amazing how well it turned out, considering the limited tools Dave has at the camp. For instance, he recently built himself a table saw by turning a circular saw upside down, and building a table around it. What a guy!
Dave also started working/volunteering at a local carpentry shop. His first day went really well, and he came home reinspired about carpentry. This specific shop makes furniture, which is something Dave is really interested in learning more about, so it is really working out great. He is going to go in 1 day a week, and learn as much as he can. It is also a great way to meet some more people and practice his Spanish. Can you tell I am excited for him? :)

Wow, Dave. Great job! Just imagine what you could do if I let you into my shop for a day or two! (Although I must confess I don't have an upside down circular saw. You'd have to use the table saw.)

I'm very impressed, Dave. Stay with it!
